Somehow, in the UK this topic has become extremely relevant again. It will always be relevant but it’s something people are very blind to seeing. On Sunday the 11th of July the Euros finale happened, Italy beat England, encouraging the racists to come out and play. The comments on social media and throughout is terrifying and disgusting to be reading.
Just shy of a year ago in 2020 I wrote this blog post in regards to the unjust killings and police brutality in the United States against black people and other minorities; showcasing that racism is prominent within the UK and not only the US.
